City to Scold Building Management Who Refuses Motorcycle Parking

Jakarta Secretary Saefullah will scold the parking building management along Bundaran HI - Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat who rejects the rider to park at their building.

Without providing land for motorcycle parking and street vendor, SIPPT would not be signed

"I will take the billing from the developer who not run SIPPT (Permit on Land Use) of parking lot. We will survey the parking location and street vendor (PKL), said Saefullah at City Hall (12/2).

Saefullah added, the developer must provide land for motorcycle parking and street vendor to get SIPPT from Jakarta Provincial.

" Without providing land for motorcycle parking and street vendor, SIPPT would not be signed ," said the former mayor of Central Jakarta.

He continued, these rules have been agreed upon a number of developers in the presence of a notary. Therefore, if the agreement is violated, the city government can prosecute legally.

By this agreement, Saefullah asks to building management to provide parking land for rider. Jakarta Provincial also plans to provide the underground parking lot under Monumen Nasional (Monas) for car and motorcycle.

"We planned to build underground parking at Monas, and we will start it in 2015. It will be an alternative for the rider," he told.
